This is my first time ever trying this sort of thing out...happen to stumble on you all browsing kijiji! I am 30 yrs old and mom of 2 boys (8 and almost 6) we live on the east end also. I work p/t nights and weekends in food service and volunteer with several organizations during the day, but I am looking to switch to something all days in September when my little guy starts grade1. I love working with kids and thought of opening a daycare also but was wondering what the pay was like and how it works?

Welcome Stephl. Home daycare is good money if you are full and cuts down on daycare costs for yourself. It is a lot of fun.
